Frith Street (and the area for about 1/2 mile around it) belonged to the Italians last night. What a sight, and what great atmosphere… Went down on the bike to see for myself and saw things you don’t see everyday… like traffic getting held up by people on the street hugging the occupants of the car in front.
Although I’m no footie fan myself, I have to hand it to the Italians, they really know how to party
As you can see even getting to Bar Italia was near impossible. This is Old Compton Street at about 23:00 last night:
I can’t wait to see what sort of action Fifa will take against Materazzi’s words that got a reaction like a headbutt. After all football only a game and if someone needs to dive, cheat or offend someone close to you to win then this is over and above what sport is. I only wish that Zinedine was taller and could have given him a Liverpool kiss!
I not happy with the way Italy won there games. The only game that they walked out of with respect was the Germany win (which was a great game). All the other games showed what lenghts some players will go to in their drive to win.
