Good luck with that. It’s not a bad operation, you should recover quite quickly and think: ‘no more pain’!
Thank you Lstar,p that does seem to be my situation.
It seemed to go well in that I’m walking, albeit slowly and very carefully, without a stick. I’m not in any pain as such, just a little soreness from the incisions. Living up to my signature, even though it’s very rare that I take pain killers, I’m going to take paracetamol and ibuprofen regularly for a couple of days as I want to avoid any pain.
