Still in shock, 30 plus degrees and sunny just 130 miles south, passed through a rain storm and temp dropped ten degrees. Stuck in traffic next to the migrant camp in Calais as they tried to storm lorries was an eye opener, about 15 squeezed in with a horse being transported.
3 minutes into usual ride to work I understood, that it is autumn now… It was +14!!! Even yesterday was warmer!!! Should we be expecting snow soon?? I can already feel jacket insert going in…
brains_t- fingers crossed you won’t get into yet another unannounced Calais ferry staff walk out… Last few months they are just causing problems to everyone… Had to use ferry services in July- missed one of the walk-outs by minutes (after being delayed for four hours). Not using Calais any time soon… Dover- Dunkerque only… Good luck!
