I hate throwing things away that others might have a use for, so giving the following two items free, as I’ve replaced them. As I have a scooter (or, should that be ‘The Scooter’), I can even deliver (within reason…).
An old Sony DVD player (multiregion), which keeps saying ‘No disc’. Apparently, the heads (or whatever) may be dirty or worn, but can be repaired (not worth my while paying £100 to get it repaired, though). Not being technominded, I have bought a new one. So, in case somebody wants a DVD player for a spare room and wants to see if he/she could get it to work, PM me.
Also, an On-Digital (remember them?) box, which I replaced with a Freeview box, as it wouldn’t find ‘More Four’. When E4 became available, it found that, so obviously does do some updates. So, again, if you want it for a second TV, PM me.
