FREE DYNO RUNS IN LONDON !!!

Yes come in !!!

Hi Andrei any time from 10 am thanks!!!

nice one, will see you aruond 10ish, will come early as I don’t like the afternoon, specially if it as Sunny as they said it should be 15 degrees… too much traffic and yes I ride a bike but I really can’t be asked to dodge idiots.

besides if I need a custom map done also it will probably take a bit of time:)

i might pop in tomorrow what’s a good time for you?

That’s ok to me !!!

Yippee - I’ll be along in around one hour

how much for a pcIII for a 2007 fz1 fazer?

My dyno :I dropped by this afternoon and as you’ll see above my plan was to see what the graph showed and then if needed look at getting a PC fitted and tuned. Within minutes of arriving my '06 CBR600F was being strapped down on the dyno.

The only mod is the Scorpion can (baffle out) and Rhalf predicited this would cause the fuel/air ratio to show it was running rich.

So on we went with a couple of runs. At max rpm there was a bit a muck coming out the can so I’ve been advised I need to rag it more!  I guess the daily commute doesn’t really clean the coke out. Perhaps I should do the 15miles on the M11 at xxx mph in second and through town in 1st!

So after a couple of runs it was time to look at the graph. I was really please to see a very flat torque curve and a nice straight power graph. Being a newbie to bikes Rhalf soon explained the fuel/air mix readings. The lower the number the richer - opposite of what I expected!

It seems my bike wasn’t running as rich as expected. The graph shows it trundling along the lower limit with occasional dips below. i.e. slightly rich but not in a problematic way.

It was at this point Rhalf (who used to race a CBR600s) said it was (one of) the best CBR (with 3rd pary can) graph he’d seen. :w00t::w00t:

He suggested that a PC wouldn’t benefit me much unless I was spending a lot of money tricking it up for the track. Since I’m not then his advice saved me money … and took away some business from himself! What an honest fella!! We later compared his servicing costs with what I’d been paying at the local dealer. It seems I’d gonna be saving even more in future

Here’s my graph. I’d be interested in your thoughts - plus I also recommend you to get your bike down there for a run. Even if you’re not bothered about the pub bragging rights of your peak bhp etc, it’s a great health check for you bike.

My bike delivered over 96bhp at the rear wheel. With the factory figure (engine) being 108bhp and the estimated losses being around 15%, this mean my bike is developing a very fit and healthy 111bhp.

Happy days! :w00t::DCheers Rhalf :slight_smile:

Just had my bike dynoed by rhalf came out at 119.5 at the crank. that’s up from 112.6 last month before i changed the plugs and played with the air box. different dynos but seems good to me:P cheers rhalf top man i’ll definatly service the SV with you next time.

Rhalf I finish work at 5pm tomorrow - could I pop in afterwards for a run? Latest I’ll be there is 5.20

Ralph this sounds amazing. Top man. Not sure if can do this weekend but will deffo give you a call sometime and arrange a visit.

Cheers

Booked in for a dyno run tomorrow and getting a new rear tyre fitted

Your timing couldn’t be better!! Not only have I just joined London Bikers, but I’ve also been thinking about finally getting around to doing a custom map for my Power Commander!!

I’ll drop you guys a line tomorrow. I’ve got a day off on Friday so I’ll hopefully be able to pop in then. Would be interested to see how the map I have on there is performing. It’s a custom map for someone else with a Triumph Daytona 600 and the same set up as mine (just a different exhaust manufacturer). Problem is that each bike is different and the D6 particularly suffers from fueling problems.

Would also be interested in hearing what suspension options you can suggest. The bike handles pretty well but I’m 6" 6’ and about 17 stone so I’m sure it can be improved :w00t:

Hi there PcIII is £279.65 + £35 Fitting= £314.65 Free custom map worth £120.

WILL HAVE TO POP IN AND SAY HELLO AND MAYBE GET THE BLADE DONE

Yes mate we close at 18:30, so come around, see you later!!

Gives us a call I am sure I can help !!!

Bring it on!!!:D:D;)

Hey Rhalf,
Glad to see you are keeping busy. (Black GSXR 750 your 1st run I believe).

I’m not working today. Would you have a free slot this afternoon?
I’d be funny to see how much (little) the XT makes and I’ve always been interested to know whether the PCIII is set up correctly or if it’s worth spending the cash on a custom map.
