Foxy's Leathers From Brands...

Adam, Thanks, I’m aching more as the day goes on, you know how it goes! Yeah, it’s a pain but, we take the risks and to be honest There will alway be a couple of dick heads out on track giving it the large un! There is nothing I would have liked more than to go and punch him in the head infront of all of his mates and give him a taste of my acid tounge, but I was there representing LB and took quite a few deep breaths. I would like to get the leathers fixed, as it’s the only one in the country as far as I know, (it was only made for the Italian market).

benny-benelli, Show her the piccy’s mate, she’ll be glad you spent the money on decent gear.

biggus, I’m sure I’ll be alright, I’m not sure about mentally thought LOL…

Da Artist, Mad, yes Just a bit! One of his friends came over and asked if I was ok! Let’s just say he sculked away with his tail between his legs… He he he… That Blade had been through SO much, I’ll get it sorted.

wiggetta I yam Babs.

Mini Mo, Dianese are amazing… this is the third time they have been tested and they have saved my ass every time… The bike will get fixed…

kempo, Thanks fella, didn’t hurt much yesterday, the next couple of days will be the worst… Mmmm, can’t wait!

thanutz, I didn’t realise how much of a beating the leathers took untill I got home, That’a when I knew how lucky I was! Your going to love it on the track, there’s nothing like it! Even with my crashes, I still love it, each one is a big lesson learnt. Even if the accident isn’t someones fault, there’s not much you can do about it. It’s a track day and anything can happen. No-one really claims from their insurance after a spill on the track, it’s a risk you take, and an expensive one at that!

Thanks for all your kind words… I look forward to seeing you at Cubana tomorrow…

Hope you injuries turn out to be nothing more than aches and pains Foxy. The body armour and leathers really have done a good job there.
Your confidence may be low now but not for long im sure. I was back at Brands again this evening and there were very few incidents and the track was wet. Maybe thats why?

Some of the lads were on their way home last night and said they saw the twat riding home and his riding wasn`t much better then. They all seemed to know him.

On the bright side youve got some street cred there with those scuffs but looks like theyll need a bit of patching up.

Glad ure ok!

Can u get insurance for the track just for the day then?

The important bit was the content eh? the leathers did the job! Glad you are OK! Scary to see the leathers though

ohh poor foxy…chin up luv…and keep smiling…

hope your ok hun, and your leathers can be sorted…it must be so frustrating to think that some twat has ruined a perfectley good day for you…but you doo have your health and thats the main thing…

glad to see you cant keep a good spirit down!!!

get well soon chick…we need ya…!

not so smiled.

Geez Tash !..hope your’re okay and didnt do any major damage to yourself, and hopefully this incident hasn’t put a damper on your enthuism for Track Days, get well soon and don’t bother dwelling on that idiot who went into your bike, you take it E Z girl !

Sorry to hear about this, but then it’s something we all know could happen on a trackday, made a tad more bitter if you had no way of avoiding it, still if it’s going to happen the tracks the place, no oncoming vehicles or roadside furniture to do more damage.

Glad to see the protective wear done it’s job, the mix of adrenaline and relief tend to support the body in the short term, it’s only later (as you’re no doubt finding out) that the pain comes through.

Glad you didn’t suffer any serious injuries, bikes can be fixed, confidence regained, kit repaired or replaced, it seems the right kit at the right time saved the day.

hope to meet you this evening if you’re coming along, Just a last tip, never underestimate the benifits of a long hot bath .

Hope the battered & bruised bit doesn’t last long.

Cheers Mark.

Foxy, so sorry to hear about the news but very glad to see you are on form. See you at the Cubana soon and keep smiling!!!

Daaaaaammmmmmmmmmm Girl…you dont do things by halves do ya !!!

hey foxy…sorry to hear about this…but glad ure ok! this is the mainthing…chin up…

Foxy, you were having such a good time until that happened as well, really am gutted for you.

You are to all intents fine which is the main thing, protection is vital, not only on the track but also on the road.

Having crashed a few times in my race leathers at speeds of around 100 mph I can vouch for the fact they work.

I wear MJK leathers for a reason, they stand the test of time as i have proved as have many others before me.

My new set should be being collected Saturday morning. The old set are being repaired.

Bummer Glad you managed to stay in one piece, all be it one bruised piece!

Could have been worse, glad your ok though.

Check with home insurance as sometimes they cover the cost of saftey kit even on a track. I specificly have checked this with my insurance, they also cover all stuff i am carrying at the time of the accident.

I found out from RizlaSV that some policies covered things like that.

Good point TSM, when I binned my scoot a couple of years ago I got a new helmet and jacket off my home contents insurance. May not be a wise idea to mention you got yours messed up at a track though Foxy.

How did the 675 feel round there mate?

Relieved you are okay Foxy…keep mobile so you don’t stiffen up… BC2

Glad you are OK, how about your bike?

Smiled, Thank’s darling, it would take a lot more than that to stop me smiling!

nightstalker-one Taking it easy right now fella, thank fook I work from home… I will be back out on track, I need to get the bike sorted first…

Sutcir, Shit happens, and there was nothing I could have done to avoid it. I just felt the back left of my bike get hit and because I was mid-corner I couldn’t save it. Yes I’m hurting big time today, could do with a bit of TLC… Mmmm a soak in the bath… Going now.

Barro No I don’t fella… Thats me, All or nothing…

Chuffster, I was still nervous after the crash at Snetterton and I was out there getting my confidence back. Unfortunatly, there was only one space available and that was in the faster group, I have been more than competant in inter/fast before, so I wasn’t fazed untill I got out on track and realised I should have gone in the first group. Live and learn eh…

TSM Thanks for the advice…

Bikerchick2, I’m trying girl… LOL…

AndreaThe bike needs some TLC just like me… I don’t even want to look at it yet! Here are the piccy’s…
