argh my job does have its perks, although i dont get to drink as much now as when i was a drivers mate can only have 1 a day now

When you posted I was at work and having a “beer”. A low alcohol Carlsberg, but better than nothing. Almost.
One of the few advantages of getting on in age is that you can indulge the odd eccentricity. Like dozing off during lunch time (when you get one of those) and keeping a 6 pack of low alcohol beer in the office fridge.
But I’d rather have freedom and a real beer.
