Fooked fork

Took my bike to Westies shop this morning for a routeing service, but its more than that.

George the mechanic niticed a crack at the bottom of the right fork and as he undid the holding screws a chunk of lower folk came off.

Super Westie rang Piaggio up straight away and a guy from Piaggio is coming down to have a look on Saturday and hopefully it should come under warrenty.

Many thanks to Westie and his crew for dealing with this and i`ll pick the bike up in 2 weeks or so.

That never happened with the chinese scooter I had !

What do you expect. It’s our Westie
Always happy to help isn’t?

Go Westie

How many miles did you do on the chinkycrap scooter then.

Thats cos for part to wear out, you actually have to ride the bike. I’d be suprised if the chinese scooter even run!! lol

Its all that stunting you do on it

I am sure Westie will sort you out

Have you checked wot’s the max weight your scoot can carry

well it certainly was a shock, we hope to be able to sort it all for ya john by the time you come back, i will ring ya later love xx

Beat me to it Terry!!

It`s not a weight issue as nobody heavy has ridden my bike.

Sorry johnp couldn’t resist it after the scooter comment on the other thread

Don`t worry about it, i can take. I give plenty out.

ive heard, ya dirty dog! hehe

For the work on the bike i will pay cash, but for you looking after it for me i will pay in kind.

After 3 weeks Westie is getting the forks for my bike this Monday, which he doesnt know yet. He told me earlier that it would take another 7-10 days but i found out that Fowlers had them in stock which Debbie from Westies shop ordered tham and they will have them and ill have my bike back on the road next week.
