after the sucess of last years im in the process of organising another one before the weather gets good and we all start getting out on our bikes more, anyone interested let me know so i can sort out numbers etc etc n i’ll make sure the get our certificates out too us when we do it
Good idea!
How much will it cost?
I’m in as long as it doesn’t clash with a BSB.
This is happening next weekend -
After nearly being FBOS a couple of times recently, im in… as long as its somewhere i can get to!
Whilst the Oxford one isnt too bad, any chance of getting something set up in London?..
If i have to travel i will BTW!
I’m up for this mate. Just give me a date and prices etc…
yes put me down for this…about time I had a refresher…
Read the post I lined to above!
Sunday 13 April - £55 quid - Central London - the more the merrier!
Booked on this for the 13th. Didn’t get any discount when I selected londonbikers.com though.
Yeah I am also booked onto the one on the 13th! I booked at full price, but then ART called me and gave me the discount!! top service!
The discount doesn’t appear on screen but you should get the discount if you choose londonbikers.com in the drop down list.
doh!! too late for me to do the 13th now didn’t realise, so will still try and organise one for those that cant make it either
Yep they called me too. Sweet! ![]()
Curtis, keep me posted mate. I can’t make the 13th either but would like to do the course.
Just waiting to see if I’m allowed Sunday off to play more first-aid. Just did my ‘first-aid in the workplace’ course last week so am keen to see the biker-specifics of this course. Will book on once I know if I’m allowed out. Hope to see you there…Cool, all booked up myself. Didn’t get the discount or a call but hey these things happen. Thanks for the Map update GuilianoSee you there.
Just spoke to Steve at Art Motorcycle Training who has been organising the FBOS. The postcode on the booking form and in the emails has been withdrawn. It is therefore unreliable for navigation purposes. Google Maps, including the link from the ART website, points to the wrong place, and some websites refuse to map at all - for example Streetmap.co.uk refuses to produce a map of that post code.
The correct location is the UCL main entrange at the top end of Gower Street. There will be parking in the quad. Just tell the man on the gate why you are there. Here is the correct location -
Also, please note that the Marathon is being run that morning so expect road closures throughout Greenwich, Docklands, the City, the Embankment and Westminster. I know Westmisnter Bridge will be closed, as I assume will Tower bridge.
Waterloo bridge and the Strand Underpass should be the best route from the South and South West.
Supposed to be going on the Visordown / Revcounter memorial run to Donnington on 13th!!
Poo !
:ermm:
I would like to make it pending dates
Wicked. Thanks for the info… ![]()
