Any wise heads out there have any information i might find useful? and how many groups do focused events have in the evenings. I hope its 2

What PJ said.
Just take it easy and don’t get caught up by those around you but if you see a good rider in your group then follow their lines. Use the sighting & warm up laps to get a feel for the track.
Take your mirrors off or tape them up.
Use your own braking markers, don’t use other peoples as most people (me included) brake way too early.
Try and get some 1-2-1 time with an instructor, it’s only £20 a session and well worth it.
Get your tyres deflated by the ‘tyre guy’, road pressures are too high for track riding, especially in this weather.
Don’t eat too much food, dulls the senses but keep your fluids up - energy drinks are good!
Elad is probably a good person to get more info, I’m sure he will post a good response.
For the evening sessions instruction is free (was with nolimits and pretty sure it is free with Focused too) so take advantage of it, really is useful. Should be just two groups as well, usually is on the evening sessions because there really isn’t enough time for 3 or 4.
I went last Monday and spent my entire session learning lines and getting comfortable. The actual track time goes past so fast it really is amazing.
Best advice, really do get out with the instructer as soon as possible, the lines on a couple of the corners at Brands are not what you would expect, and knowing the right line early will certainly help.
I’d say book an instructor for the second session, and take the first one really really easy. That way, you’ll have gotten rid of that initial “fear” and used to the experience a little by the time you can concentrate on what the instructor has to say.
