To be honest so do I, I hate going pillion. Only done it a few times and loathed each time, big bikes small bikes no difference.
Being a pillion is what made me get a bike! Loved it, not sure it would feel the same now though.
Yeah my instructor gave me a lift to the cafe whilst the other candidate did his test back in the day, 1st time on the back of a fireblade and my instructor rode the few miles in full attack mode! I wasn’t impressed LoL. When I do give a lift to someone on the bike I take it easy, its hard enough dealing with the bike when your dealing with the dead weight on the back. My advice, get a sidecar:)

My first experience as a pillion was on my instructors ZX900R, I completely sh%t myself it actually put me off sitting pillion for a while. Then rode pillion on my mates 600RR to collect my bike and wasn’t too bad but burnt my fingers a few times on the exhaust.
Kudos to my Mrs though, she went on pillion like a duck to water and doesn’t panic but she punches my kidney if i go too fast.

The worst thing in my opinion is them riders that don’t tap your hand when they are about to go full throttle! Scares the **** out of me!
Same here!! I thought if it was fun to go pillion, to ride it must be amazing!
Although I once rode pillion on a mate’s R1 and it’s when I decided never owning a super sports… I think I stained the seat a bit
