Hey Guys!
Got a quick question for the Fireblade masters! (and in fact anyone who can offer some advice!)
I have just got in from a 10-min ride from work and on the way home my gears seem to have disappeared.
I have first and second are fine, but when I try and put it into third it feels dead (as if you were tapping down when in first).
I have not taken anything apart as yet and don’t plan to this evening…lol
Just spoken to my boss and he said it could be the spring behind the clutch basket either has come off or has worn out.
Is this a common thing? Has anyone seen this sort of symptoms on a blade?
The bike has 50,000 miles on the clock and had the previous owner replaced the gearbox about 3 years ago (unsure of the mileage between).
If anyone says the words new gearbox they will be shot instantly (with a water gun!)
