I guess each to their own but she should consider herself fortunate that she’s been given a wake up call - she should try something a bit healthier.
Incidentally, those parking fines are unenforceable. There is no proof she entered into a contract with the land owner when she parked there and even then, the land owner has no power to issue a S172 notice for details of the driver who overstayed the time allowed. They can’t prosecute the registered keeper as there’s no proof the registered keeper overstayed the time.
