I just re-watched the clip, and I guess it is not the sort of course you would see in bike races.
I doubt the gixxer is using all its potential ( I mean, did you see it at any time doing 150+mph ) and might be worth an adjustment to make use of the power for that kinda course.
A terabyte, dam, thats double my storage. Catch me at the ace some time and I can explain the unique hosting account I have. I doubt I can get all your stuff on there, but I am sure I can serve some of it.
To me it seems that track suits better a 600 than a 1000! If it was in Almeria in spain where the main straight has 900m and there are loads of fast areas where you could take the gust out of a Gixxer 1000, the story would be different…
No doubt they chose that track as they new the car would win, it’s bugging me where it is? It’s not Knockhill, I’m guessing somewhere in Wales or more likely Ireland.
Yes it was Anglesey (see pics below) and Kev Smith from MCN didn’t look slow.
I don’t think it’s about a 6 being quicker. It’s the circuit being more suited to cars than bikes. Bit tight like Lydden (only 1.06mls).
I’d like to see the results at Snetterton or the GP circuit at Brands!
The Gixer beat the Ducati 999’s time last year (not by much but it beat it) which beat a Lambo!
If Kevin had have been able to adjust the suspension he would have been able to go quicker. We all know the standard settings are crap. No rear sag as standard…
Also the standard tyres are nothing special, plus some revised gearing, plus a full system, plus…
