Just after a bit of advice - my partners boss has offered me his 03 Fazer 1000, 34,000 miles with FSH, hugger, heated grips, belly pan, new C&S, recent tyres and new pads - any ideas what should be a good price. The bike is in good nick. Any of you guys had any experience of them and do they have any bad points or common problems. Thanks all.

They are excellent bikes - smooth, comfy… and when you hit the power at the top end they’re just plain F-A-S-T.Brakes are blue spots, so very good if looked after.
If you’re used to sports bikes then the handling takes a bit of getting used to - they just feel a little longer .
Reliable engines, decent finish… perfect big bore all-rounder, really.

Had a Fazer 1000 for just under a year before some1 decided to drive into it while i was on it 
Fantastic bike which is a good all rounder. Super comfortable & perfect for pootling thru traffic but great for blatting round thru the twisties when you feel the urge.
only downside i found was the suspension was a little on the soft side, but uprated springs seemed to do the job.
& it can be quite a versatile bike when you want it to be:

Had mine now for almost 5 years, have to say that its an all round great bike. My only 2 gripes would be : gear change can be bit clunky & it has a high centre of gravity.

hi one of the best bikes i ever owned,till it was killed.lovly smooth motor,very esay to ride fast,good fit and finish,comfy,good two up and so much fun to ride with a good tank rang. a very good ROAD bike more fun than my r1.only thing i would say the suspension a bit soft,i put abetter shock on mine and if u have the large crash bungs u can touct down on them and loose the front,no good.i will get another one as soon as me leg works.that bike worth about 2.5 k with that mileage.this is the only photo i have of her i miss her.

Its the Oxygen mask at front with all the onlookers that gets me
seems odd but i try to look a the funny side off things,im not the lightes person,and when they tried to lift me on to the trolly 4 people could`t so they shouted ,volenties reqired to help.i thougth it was so funny as they struggled to lift me,life to short m8

Fantastic machines, as GM says, over 7k revs they fly!
I would value around £2500.
