the motorcycles still run after going through that? Did you not have to clean or check it at least?

Hah, this is a video from an armbanded ride, but I can’t remember where that ford is to give you a street view: https://www.facebook.com/groups/304484263050400/permalink/679794158852740/

What's with the arm bands?

It’s another forum/group/club thing (LMRC) and it’s just so they all recognise each other, so that nobody ends up following another bike that just happens to have ridden along the ride route and then turned off it for some reason. I’ve never really had a problem that would’ve been solved by them, but  can appreciate the theoretical problem it does solve.

That’s Little Baddow ford the same one we did along with another nine fords three years earlier in October 2013 on a proper non-arm banded TOWiE special to celebrate the ending of British Summer Time with a splash. Note we knew nothing of BREXIT back then! More photos and the ride reports here https://londonbikers.com/forums/posts/385290/sunday-27th-october-towie-special-to-celebrate-the-ending-of-british-summer-time-with-a-splash

We repeated the experience in March 2015 too

TOWiE the original and best of Essex tarmac in and around Art’s back yard, often copied never equalled!

Call that a ford?

Nemesis and the Furnaux Pelham await.

We almost got the tee shirt at Furneux Pelham and at least I dipped my front wheel in the Nemesis (Lower Common ford)

Here’s a deep 'en declined by all but one on the day, only just made it out too.

I love the steam coming off on that final picture.
