too far for south london massive (its once a month sure the 1hr ride is do able now and again)
+not to packed so easier to find the LB massive,
+i’ll put in 25 for the first round or so if sorted for next month
-London bikers dont have a anything in the most famous bikers cafe in the UK/Europe???
If the newbie mods are too far from ACE how about Mark and Ang / Jets ???
Let me spell it out in short words! He is basically going over old ground about the reinstatement of the OFFICIAL newbie night at the ace that was cancelled by the powers that be for no good reason and with no alternative in place. There was a thread in the ride-out section but I’m doing this from iPad and don’t know how to link. To be brutally honest I really cannot be f*cked to go over this again only for it to fall on deaf (not bothered!) ears! I don’t financially benefit from this site and I have tried to help but when you get no official response you kind of think, if they don’t give a sh!t why should I? All I will say is that if you fail to make new members feel welcome and that they belong to something special then they won’t stick around and this site will fail! Blackheath this and Ace that is also a load of b0ll0cks, it has to one official voice. And this cannot be done from a keyboard, you cannot just welcome a new member when they post in the newbie section and think that is enough, you have meet people, press the flesh, make people feel welcome. Anyway that’s it for me, rest is up to the mods, you lot benefit more than all of us if this site survives and thrives! Vern out (for now!).
Not quite sure what your getting at about the mods benefiting not you the members from the site?
It’s not like we make anything from the site, we do it for the love and to give you people somewhere to communicate other than on FB.
Feel free to reinstate newbie night, not that it really went away, and discuss between you who is able to attend on the night in question. I for one am not always about to make it, Pat is in Ireland and both Andrew and Shane are very much far away from the Ace.
There is nothing stopping you all as members to organise this, it is your site as well, just because the mods and admin can’t make it doesn’t mean it can’t exist.
So crack on and broadcast it on the site as before.

Not me son, you have no idea how much that will not happen! I’ve been over this too many times now and I’m done with it! All I will say is that I seem to remember something about Rob and somebody else stepping up as newbie reps and there being tons of new ideas in the pipeline, I’m just only too aware (as are others!) that these plans are yet to happen! So I hope you do get it sorted and best of luck to you! Just make it sooner rather than later eh!
