My sister wants to buy some of those heated inner gloves for her boyfriend, and I want to see if I can get a pair today. Any one know if they have any in stock?
Cheers

whats wrong with heated grips?
they don’t heat the back of the hands like heated gloves do! think the interweb is going to be your best bet matey, Klan are the dogs by all accounts!
tell your sister to get a proper man like me who dont need no heated grips
Yeah that is exactly what my sister said about the back of the hands. As it turns out the guys hasnt got any decent winter gear, so I said the money would be better invested in a thermal underlayer, inner gloves and a good balaclava, Cold Killer stuff looks pretty good…

Yes Ginger, of course. ![]()
the handle bar muffs plus a good pair of inner gloves, with loosely fitting outer mitts or gloves will really do a good job but when its really cold even that dont work…why dont bikes have air vents blowing warm air on the gloves…wouldnt be at all difficult…shame my winter bike, the bandit is air and oil cooled…or I would try it myself…
just get her a pair of jet road goretex for £58 delivered if she still has cold hands she dead.
phone alex at rex judds clothing he will do you a good deal 0208 328 7659 tell him i told you to phone
Cheers mate, yeah she already had gone for the underlayer clothing instead, cold killers stuff, inner gloves, windproof layer and hot hood…that should sort out her bloke.

cool just make sure there is air between the inners and gloves as this is what keeps the hands warm,if they are to tight she will still get cold hands.
Cheers will let her know.
I’ve been out in very cold temperatures for long, exposed distances and I can’t believe anything beats the feeling of getting off the bike at the end of the journey with warm hands thanks to heated inner gloves. They’re a faff to run into your jacket and connect up but it is worth it. With the heating elements over the top of your hand, the warmth reaches the places heated grips can’t.
I’ve not tried hand guards or handlebar muffs, and I’m sure they’re OK, but they’re not going to combat the cold and warm me up.
Maplin do a really cheap pair. Not sure that they will do the full works but for £10 you can’t really go wrong, however I can’t say that I have tried them myself!
Plus they are battery powered and not M/C powered - not sure if this is a good thing or not?

Sure i saw the Gerbing ones in Chiswick Honda last time i was there
Those gerbin ones are very expensive tho, £120 quid!!
Those battery ones might be a good cheap solution the only thing is that they look bulky (esp with the batteries in) so wont be able to put protective gloves over, and I am guessing those dont have much protection in them by default…

Gerbin do two types…
Classic Heated Gloves - £69.95 ($139)
G3 Heated Gloves - £84.98 ($169)
I would have to agree with you, the Maplin ones prob. do not offer any protection!
Bump!
How’s that for thread mining?
I’ve just found these on the infoweb. Has anyone tried them?

i remember the chemical pouches bike shops used to do u would bend the packet and the two chemicals would mix together u would put the pouch into u gloves and they would heat up
