Family Barrister/Solicitor needed!

Does anyone know of a very very good family Barrister or Solicitor? I just need some “free” advice if possible!

Thanx guys

Have you tried Citizens Advice Bureau first hun?

Failing that try all Family orientated Solicitors etc that offer a free 30 min service.

CAB cant help… i cant explain why lol if that makes sense…

Ah right. Its a shame ‘moneysupermarket’ doesn’t have a top 10 list of these sort of people!

Try this if it’ll help…

Thanx
I just need some advice before i go ahead with anything…

If it’s property-related, then I can recommend a very good lawyer. But not if it’s divorce, custody etc. Will send details by PM.

Divorce? Am 23 :stuck_out_tongue: too young  lol

Most places will give you a 30 minute free advice service so get your question written down and make the question simple so they have plenty of time to answer.

You’re recently married on FB!

yeah I was heartbroken too

PM me your email address and I will happily pass on the contact details of our family group.

Check your car/bike/house/travel insurance policy - sometimes legal cover includes a certain amount of free advice on any subject.

Also if you are a member of a union, staff association or staff club etc, these often have a small amount of free legal advice as a negotiated member benefit.

Finally, check any bank accounts you have - free legal advice is often given away free as part of the package of perks.

From personal experience these “helplines” can be staffed by unqualified trainees and the advice has been erroneous.

How right you are. Legal expenses insurance is the biggest con going and these policies have cost people millions.

Specifically this was a legal advice service offered as part of house insurance.

Seems like finding a lawyer is very hard ;[

Sorry to hear of the poor experience. I have not used one of these services for about 20 years (it was to do with the Kawasaki liquid cooled carb iceing mass recall). My experience then was mixed, although I don’t think the advice was wrong, just the lawyer was not interested in understanding the problem.
