Hi All,
I am in need of your awesome knowledge. My rear brake light on my Falco has gone belly up and needs a replacement. Can I basically connect any rear brake light or does it have to be an Aprilia one. As far as I understand it, it is just a switch to make a connection so should be possible to stick on any microwsitch that I can fit.
Any useful advice/help/suggestions welcome.
Thank you all in advance.
I had a falco … I might even if I look hard enough find a genuine working rear brake light switch . They go every few months so I kept a good one and only fitted it for MOT time then took it off again… I shall go hunting while I am looking for a reg rec that will fit a kawasaki in my boxes shelfs and heaps of spares
Get a banjo bolt pressure switch, much better
Wow, that would be amazing. Let me know how you get on and I’ll sort you a party 7
Sorry buddy … I hunted high and low … Found a regulator rectifier for some sort of aprillia and an old set of brake seals but no brake switch … Sorry
No worries, thanks for looking.
I will investigate the banjo bolt switch option.
I think mine was about a tenner off eBay for a brand new goodridge…
The only thing is you have to open the sealed system, so you’ll have to bleed the brake afterwards
