Failed my test - but in style

actually I’ve always struggled with the U turn  clutch and gears are a bit of a mystery to me :hehe:

If it makes you feel better, I failed my first car test before I’d even set off - checked over shoulder & in mirrors far too many times out of nerves and the b*stard examiner wrote fail on his sheet before my very eyes - then fell apart (failed on 6 of 7 categories!).

Passed my bike test first time though, albeit that then it was a case of no CBT, a test with a few goes around the block without falling off & the examiner jumping out in front of you without hitting him. I’m told it’s a lot harder now…

Good luck, it’ll be easier next time round!

Don’t worry - you will pass - so what if you failed the first one - just keep practising the u-turns.

+1 sid i like it

Thanks everybody for the words of encouragement.

I’m definately redoing my test as soon as I can, think I really needed an extra day on the bike before doing my test. I’m going to get the instructor to take me out for another day on the 500’s and he’s offered one of his 125s for me to have some practice on.

fingers crossed.

I failed first time too

great spirit for wanting to get straight back at! wish you lots of luck for next time

if your going to mess up, do it with style A!

welcome to lb. Do your test again girl!

Hiya

I also struggled with the u turn, but spent weeks practicing in narrow roads, thought I had it, until my test! He took me in a little narrow rd on (wait for it) a slight HILL!! That was it, didnt even get round, ended up facing the kirb! Was so mad because apart from that I only got 2 minors. Went back to that rd later in week with hubby and got so worked up that I ended up falling off the bike in the middle of the rd and snapped off my brake leaver! That was it, I was giving up, had enough, not cut out to ride! Changed my mind next day tho, and passed my test last sept, best feeling in the world! Good luck next time, if I can do it, anyone can! You poor thing. I took my test in Feb and passed. But I remember the feeling I had prior to being told that I had passed, it was a feeling of dread. If I had failed I would have been gutted, I wanted it so much.

Anyway, you seem determined…so you go and get your license. What bike do you ride now? and what bike will you get when you pass?

get it done asap tlc 69

Thanks

I also snapped of the brake lever on the bike the 1st time I dropped it the day before my test, at the test center in front of a load of instructors and pupils  got it as a souviner.

On the Plus side it’s the first time 10 guys have all rushed to help me

Dont have a bike yet and not sure what I’m going to get, just focussing on getting the test passed then I can have fun choosing
