Quite good race. Had to turn off the sound again though. Surely now the british media is going to say Alonso ruined Hamilton’s title hopes, ignoring the fact he had a sh!t start and just ran into the back of Alonso when he was running in 10th position.

Anybody noticed how they were showing the great scrap between Button and Coultard and the commentary went something like “we’re looking at this great battle between Rubens Barichello and Bourdais”. Surely the union jack on Button’s helmet should have given enough of a clue even to people who know nothing about the sport.

Rate that as interesting, but not all that interesting and, apart from a bit of a surprise from some quarters, not that good. I don’t think that is going down as an all time classic race.

I’ll try watching the condensed “highlights” tonight.

Bring back Murray Walker, nearly fell asleep watching the race, at least Murray put some energy into even the most boring races and his roots were in biking.

More wheel to wheel racing please, Max Mosley could even bring his kinky girls to the next Grand Prix.

I did fall asleep during the F1!!.. very boring really, once they had settled its just watching a very fast parade really…

The strategies and all the politics are interesting, the actual racing is a bit pants though…

Hehe I actually watched it cos I wanted to sleep. There is something about motor engines going mental round the track that has a massive soporific effect on me…dunno why… thankfully doesn’t happen when I actually am on track :slight_smile:

I’m a big fan but got lynched for mentioning it on a bike forum and for daring to say that I liked it. But (a la Katherine Tate) am I bothered? Dont think so!!!:PI dont care how predictable or boring it gets (and it can in some places) I still love everything about it.
