Is there any eye drops available for infected eyes over the counter…woke up yesterday and my left eye was sooo swollen and stuck shut!:w00t: after warm water it was ok…got up this morning and i look like someones walloped me! eye is red and puffy don’t have time for visit to the doc anyone got any remedies???
I’d go visit an Optician or call in to see a Pharmacist, they are pretty useful these days and no appointment needed, GP’s are a pita the last few years.
If it not better with the drops, see Dr ASAP becasue eye infections can get very nasty.Edit - whatever you do, don’t read the bit about side effects! :w00t:BTW, also take an antihystamine. Your symptoms could be allergic conjuntivitis caused by dust etc in the eye.
I would try and visit the Doc, my flatmate had a very swollen, red, watery eye a couple of months ago. We popped down to A&E only to find out that she had a bacterial infection in the eye and if she had left it any longer would have lost the sight in one eye.
My GP was like that so changed to Debs - ring at 8am get in that day ;)No wonder you have been riding around with a broken wrist :w00t:Moral of the story - change GP
you werent stung by a wasp were you? :Whistling: :ermm:
try wahing it out with some saline in a shotglass… no dont drink it but lowere your head onto the shotglass so your eye is in it and lift your head up with eye open…
