I wake up I weigh 85 kilos… I drink a coffee, I fell a HOOOOOGE log and pack it off to the sawmill and I weigh 86 kilos… WTF!!!
tsk - be scientific about it. Each time you weight yourself on the same set of scales, take 10 samples and average out the results to hide the errors. Consider the distribution over time… learn vedic levitation and you can weigh much less without having to worry about it.
Or just put the scales on a level surface…
They’re usually not very accurate on wooden floors because of the beams being sometimes uneven. I balance mine quite carefully on tiles and usually take two or three readings when I’m trying to be very accurrate with it. Sometimes I’ve been really chuffed to see a 2kg loss in just one week with barely any effort :w00t: only to retest myself to see that no, there’s barely half a pound gone :doze:.
Also 1 pint of water is 568grams, which is roughly around a pound of weight. So it’s always best to take a piss before weighing yourself or not drink too much water.
I’m unfortunately not doing too well on the weight loss front, I gained about 3lbs due to take aways and boozing. I’m still hitting the gym hard, but it’s a shame I chase it up with a heavy boozing session 2-3 times a week.
that is sooooooooooo not the content of the thread I was expecting :ermm:I thought I was in for a music lesson
I thought there was a dermatology worry at first …
