On the ever quest for security products… Anyone tried this? It’s an alarmed lock with proprietary pager over radio.

Looks good for the pager obvs for when bike is not too far away. No idea what range is if I’m indoors.

Only in America do we hear a half mile expressed as one half mile. Anyone ever heard of two half miles or three half miles or the absurd half a half mile?

Ha. So 800 metres ish in new money. That’s outdoors clear line of sight from the video. So that may reduce somewhat substantially when there’s a brick in the way…
Yeah, in central London and from inside an office, the range is probably close enough to hear the alarm, if not see the bike being nicked.
Doesn’t look very well weather sealed either.
Looked to me as if with a little practice the battery could be defeated without setting it off.
