anyone own a k6 or k7 and had probles with the exhaust valve sticking causing the revs to be around 1600 rpm at idle? mines just started doing it.
This is like the Yamaha exup valve right? Exup valve seizes and causes a flat spot in performance depending on what position it seized at. I guess you just need to strip it and regrease it with some high temp. grease - e.g. molybdenum disulphide high temp grease. Then a regular greasing will stop it seizing in the future.
i fixed any problems i had by throwing it in the bin:D.
