…it seems that I’m not the only one who can’t sleep tonight.
yup…i did my last flight of the night…Aer Lingus to cork…it had been sitting on the deck for 2 hours due to airfeild delays and as it pushed back…i fired up engine no.2 and big bursts of flame started back firing to a distance of about 7 ft…im about 5 ft from the engine at startup so it was abit of a surprise to say the least…:w00t:…the visuals of big balls of flame in the dead of night i can handle…its the thumping of the sound waves going threw my chest as its back firing that scares the Sh!t out of me…:D.
i usally get this when im on early’s when the fuel has sat in the engine all night we call it a burn off… it pops abit then sorts it self out…but this was un expected…i did like the reactions of the passangers faces as they saw it tho…lol…
see if i can find something on youtube to show you what it looks like…it is cool tho and i wish i could of rememberd to get my phone out before it finished…:w00t:.
