Euro 2008 starts today and is there anyone here who is bothered about it even though there are no british teams playing.
I for one will be following Spain.

They have Niko Kranjcar who happens to be one of the stars of Pompey’s FA Cup winning team, plus he scored an absolute cracker against England when they beat us!! 
You lot sound like an ad for the BBC… I like Romania cos it would be really funny if they won… er… no it wouldn’t. It just proves once again, what a sh!te state of affairs that British football is in when it single handedly receives more money than the ENTIRE British Defence budget, but still can’t even qualify for Europe… over paid, p!ss poor soft women the lot of them. Now rugby on the other hand… hmm Last 2 outings… 1 World Cup and 1 2nd place… those footballing fairies need to get their act together. Crap, the lot of them.
its pretty conclusive that we are crap at footy because we overpay and over hype average athletes in football…and they actually believe they are that good!! Bunch of spoilt little tw@ts that need to locate their nuts and have some pride. If i was seen by millions to be such a complete and utter nobber i’d be too embarassed to leave the house.
i say its pretty conclusive because we are a small nation but succeed in many sporting arenas where players are forced to dig in and work hard for success, not get millions of pounds and a great life for being average.
We are great at rugby, hockey, all forms of motorsport (toseland + hamilton being the main men), darts, snooker, swimming and many many others. If you look at the ammount of ‘professional’ footballers its absolutley laughable that they get so much money for being ‘ok’ at a sport.
With something like 900 min players in the prem what have they got to shout about really??? W@nkers!!!

Turkey Portugal game was good, but shame Turkey tried diving in the box a couple of times.
well i shall be supporting portugal and wil be proud that i am, i believe that the incident in euro should have been forgotten about now and england should concentrate on playing and qualifying for the next euro as they r pretty good when they play. x
