Minor thing but check that your choke cable is actually operating the choke.
I had trouble with the Bandit when I first bought it and put a new battery on etc only to find the cable was stretched and virtually useless.
I bought an Optimate 4 and charged the battery with that overnight. When I insatalled the battery the next day the bike fired first time. I took it for a motorway blast to blow out the cobwebs now it is covered in salt.
You’ll take a look tomorrow and it’ll have corroded away.
