electrical issues

Hi guys,

sorry i couldn’t connect this weekend,

so i checked and cleaned all the connections and found the + pole at the battery a bit loose, that was probably causing a non sufficient power supply to the system, sorted!!

(the rear light still on all the time but i don’t mind it…)

while checking i noticed a wire earthed to a metal plate underneath the tank ending in a female spade connector actually not connected to anything, what that may be???

Well done.

Maybe the odd wire you refer to was part of an alarm system that was stripped out before you got the bike?

it’s very weird,

this metal plate seems attached properly to the tank, doesn’t seems to have been fitted manually, also i notices that the wire has 2 lines ( + and - maybe?) but they both end in this metal plate, while at the other end there is this female spade connector

???
