Electrical 'fountain of knowledge' recommendations

Anyone recommend a decent electrics ‘fountain of knowledge’ in the london’ish’ area.

Ducati (i know what you are all thinking;) but 19000 miles without fault until last week) 749, no headlights unless pasing light is held in. Have checked and replaced all relays, fuses, bulbs, connections etc and followed advice given from people in the know about other possible solutions still no joy.

Need recommendation of someone who is capable of reading wiring diagram and testing each part of wiring until they find the ‘break/short/kink’ that is almost certainly the problem.

These guys are in Surrey not too far away from South London (nice roads around too), back in the day when I used to own a Ducati and in touch with a few other owners they regarded this company as pretty much the best place you could take your bike to be worked on around our area.http://www.protwins.co.uk/index.html

Give them a call and see what’s what, perhaps they could book your bike in for a couple of hours and sort it.

thanks - i know about most of the ‘ducati’ places - looking for an independant in 1st instance to keep labour costs down;)

Sounds like an iffy earth connection* to me.

theres only 1 guy i go to m8, steve he’s in thornton heath area, will pm ya his number.

if ya look in the praise/shame bit put in steve hallam you will find people i have sent there etc.
