Just a word of warning, there’s a lot more grip on yer elbow than on yer knee.
I did this about 10 years ago and nearly fell off the first time when my arm was pull back.
Years ago there was a French guy in GP who used to do it WITHOUT hanging off the bike like a cat has shat on the tank. Jamie Robinson did it in 250 as well.

Hopkins comes close to getting his elbow down too…pretty impressive.
Dont take it personally, its not a dig aimed at you… i think its more of a general statement that elbow down is a really stupid thing to do.

the bloke - who is a member of mcninjas - got totally slated for doing it by a number of websites… seemed to get a lot of peoples backs up by doing it and posting it.
the jr pic is how you do it properly. look at the guys hand he is pinching the bar end ffs. its pose down not knee,elbow down.
