ebay alarms

has anyone had any experience of those alarms (Hawk etc.) that you can buy off ebay? i know it doesnt make a difference to the insurance policy as they are not Thatcham tested, but are they worth installing as a deterent to sneaking tea-leaves?

hoping to make it to a newbie meet soon, once i have my new bike!

I hav fitted alarms from there the pager ones are good but not the cheap pager ones ie £20

the £45 ones are good

there is a new one that Ranges 3 miles

What do people think of this - I guess if someone is gonna steal your bike, with or without the alarm going off!The pager is a cool utility though! Can know someone is trying to steal bike - warm her up while lying in bed, unchain her, and be on your way!

All for £70 . . . . .http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=190230684834&Category=25643&_trksid=p3907.m29
