DUNSTABLE DOWNS - Saturday 15th August

Now, I know Afro has got a run from the Ace the week before, but if you can’t make that one, or if it was so good you just have to do it twice, here’s your chance to go to Great Yarmouth with us.

Meeting at 9:30am this time in the usual car park (see link below), our ride will be leaving the Downs at 10am (please arrive fully fuelled), with only fuel stops en route, so that we get to our destination in good time. So if we’ve already gone when you get there, you’ll have to catch us up! :stuck_out_tongue:

The route will essentially be the A505/A507 to Buntingford, cross-country to Haverhill, then onto Great Yarmouth along the A143. All nice twisty roads, and no motorways!

I might join this one as well

Well volunteered, that man!

I dont belive it…I think i can make this one

Bugger Damb Blast. Can’t make this one as I’ll be up in jockland with me dad on his birthday.
Have a great day ya all and remember ride safe.

this has gone a bit quiet

I should make this one.

Looks like we’ll be seeing you in September then.

Don’t worry about the lack of posts here. It seems many people turn up at these ride-outs without posting. Plus, there should be a few others from other forums, too.

Are you sure you won’t be too hung-over, again? :hehe:

I’m cutting back on drinking now all the 30th Birthdays are out of the way for the year. Need to recover from the damage I did to myself in Le Mans and on holiday for my birthday.
Haven’t been on the bike much in the last few months, feeling very out of practice. Now considering I was never in practice to begin with, that tells you I’m riding like a learner again.

So, no change there, then!!!

If I have a replacement bike by then, I might be tempted.

I like the look of this one. Weather permitting I’d like to come along.

All are welcome.

Just remember, there’s no roll-call, so just turn-up at the mmeting point before 10am with your tank brimming with petrol.
