A friend’s Ducati 848 was stolen by a white van outside a basket ball court in Elephant and Castle yesterday. They stayed close to the bike using the tracker feedback and the police eventually caught up to the van that was found in a disused estate ‘Walworth’ off Old Kent Road. The police recovered the 848 and a a load of other Ducatis and Suzukis - models not known.
They had tried to take out the tracker and had generally tampered with the bike. He rode the bike home, parked outside his mates’ house in between Camberwell and Brixton next to his mate’s Yamaha 125. The Yam had been parked there for 6 months without bother. That night, the Yamaha was stolen.
Someone is on the thief at the moment, so please keep your locks on, trackers charged and watch out for one another’s bikes. :exclamationmark:
