My colleague is on holiday and boss away on business. Son lost his Oyster card and needed to be at school before 8am for cricket practise.
So I picked him up at his mum’s in the car and dropped him at school. Then on to the A2 at Bexley. Should I pop in home and get all the bike gear on or just go in the car.
Decided to stay in the car.
It was horrible sitting there with all the bikes filtering past.
50 minutes from Bexley to the Isle of Dogs.
yeah not a journey I’d want to do everyday in a car! I get on the A2 at Bexley everyday and thats a 20 min max journey 
Youve learnt your lesson now.

I have to go through the blackwall tunnel on my way to my friend’s in Greenwich. I do the journey about once every 2 months, but last time I was stuck in traffic for 2 fuggin hours leading up to that damn tunnel 
The weather was not very biker friendly…been pissing down all day…
You’ll all be pleased to know that Boris has come out against the new South London River Crossing (a bridge at Bexley ish) intended to lighten traffic pressure on the tunnel and Dartford crossing.
Typical attitude of a North Londoner who doesn’t cross the river often and never in the South East where we have next to no crossings.
