Drawer Foam

I’ve treated myself to a posh new tool chest which has lots of drawers to put “stuff”

I’d like to line these drawers with that grey foam that you can cut the tool shapes out of if that makes sense.

Anyone got any ideas where I can get this foam from?

However, I find that non slip dashboard matting is pretty good for keeping things organised if its only living in the garage/shed

ive used the non slip matting in my box i was going to go the faom route done one draw and you need to spend time laying stuff out how you want to then cut it out i then relised adding more tools would muck it all up the non slip was a better option ill post pics if interested

Can I hijack this thread and ask if they do the kind of stuff used in sofa cushions? Our sofas are in desperate need of having the foam replaced, they are bl00dy uncomfortable at the moment!! :pinch:

They’re both Professional Camera bag manufacturers and if you wnat to protect steel tools, then the stuff that protexcts high tech camera sensors and lenses should be up to the job…

Halfords sell a foam kit. You get the foam and sticky tracing paper with it. Trace all your tools onto the paper, stick the paper on the foam and then cut it out. I have used it and it is hours of fun:D

I think the non slip mat stuff might be the logical way to go as I do tend to add to my collection quite a bit:D
