dog cam

has anyone got or used the dogcam before im looking for cameras but dont know what one to get

ive seen dog cam but anyone know any cheaper, better ones?

I’ve got a dog cam setup, the tiny PVR with a Sony camera, not bad, works well for track days. The 8GB card is big enough to record all the sessions in max quality. Has a little wired remote control to start/stop.

Good afternoon all, hope everyone is enjoying the day. I know I am.

I don’t own a dog cam but bought a Oregon Scientific ATC-2000 Helmet camera about a month ago. I haven’t used it much on a motorcycle yet, only on a mountain bike just to try out. The picture is not bad. I’ll try and get some test footage uploaded for you to see.

Here’s a slightly compressed video from my ATC-2000.

It’s in the left crash bung on a FZ6 Fazer.

The video is nothing exciting just a 2 min rush hour ride dodging cyclists along the embankment and over Westminster Bridge.

It looks like it’s picking up a vibration/interference from the bike when the revs pickup over the bridge. I’ll try it on the handle bars to see if that helps. Still running the bike in so couldn’t give it full beans.

That is good quality… ATC 2000

I was considering the Digital Hero 3, but think I will reconsider now.

+1, me likes that

I’ve no axe to grind on this one as don’t give a shot, but the Gadget Show, by far the best place for “Suze”, found the thing to be almost indestructable.

They crash tested it strapped to a motorcycle, dropped it from a great height, etc., and even roasted it and were still able to download the footage.

Might not be the best out there, but if you want bombproof, there appears to be only one choice.

But then, who is going to crash and burn…

Just gone and bought the ATC2000 on Ebay, 2gb memory card and two batteries supplied with full package…UK Seller £69.95, free p and p recorded…

Thankyou in helping me decide. BTW the seller currently has two left on a buy it now auction…

Looks cool, much better than the ATC. Get what you pay for I guess.

What was wrong with the flickering screen? Vibration? Where was the DV500 stored?
(nice riding as well  )

I was looking into getting a cam myself, was thinking about the new ATC-3000 but i want something that will record for more than 2hrs on the other hand i cant afford to be spending hundreds of pounds on a cam and recording device so im not sure what im gona do.

Ive got one of them atc2000 couldnt get it to work first of all

put a 2gb card in duracell batteries and works well now records up to 40 mins

found it worked better on the bike than strapped to my arai was to wobbly

bought another setup but aint tried that yet but its more complicated and needs to be wired in to the batterie on the bike has got a mp4 attached to it with an 8 gb card will try it out this week and see if its any good , better be cost me £150! secondhand

pretty good video so how do you record it? do you have a video camera as well or does it go straight onto the memory card if so how?

I saw the title of this and thought it was a thread about your dog and what it does when youre not there…

Probably caught my eye because I want a catcam - Ive got two cats and I REALLY want to see where they go…

Sorry about the thread hijack - you can all go on talking about the original subject matter now

As you were :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a self-contained unit that records onto SD a memory card. Once recorded you can attach the camera to your computer (Mac or PC) or pop the card into a reader (that’s what i do) and then use a video edit program to cut your master piece of riding or in my case the motorcycle version of driving Miss Daisy

well thats the one im gonna get seeing as its that easy!!
on amazon there is the newer ATC3000 model and it takes a 4gb memory card and its only £20 more dya think the picture will be better or the same, its got a wider angle of view as well

Impatient? What about all them polite as muck bikers queued up along the left in the pits waiting to get out on the track…lol… whts that all about?:w00t:
