Does your bike have a name?

I got a new bike recently and so far a few people have asked me what I’ve called her… (I’m on about the two-wheeled kind of bike, just in case any of you were wondering…)

It’s only been the girls in the office who’ve asked - I’ve never been one to name cars, bikes etc… Anyone here named theirs?

Come on… own up

My bike is called arthur. why is it guys always call there bikes womens names?

Its a man thing lol. Well ive always called mine baby

I always think if you name summin it’ll run better and look after you and won’t let you down.

Got a '93 reg Yamaha Diversion XJ600s that’s a German import so I call her Helga!

Also named my 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R Nikita.

And as I’m really sad, my Nissan Sunny is called Ninook and we named the new addition to our collection, a Vectra SRI estate, Nemo! I’d just like to point out that Dave came up with the name for the Vectra, this from a man who doesn’t believe in naming bikes and cars. :stuck_out_tongue:

How sad am I!?

mines called Belle

Isobelle when she’s behaving and Jezebel when she’s being a pain in the proverbial:P

At the moment my bike is called broken.

I call mine Baby Boo. Boo for short

my kids call mine “narna chocolate”

I think that naming your bike is a really, really numpty thing to do! How sad is that!:Whistling:

Meet Pepperami and The Riot!

In my opinion men call their rides after women because they are all so unperdictable, when they do as required they are lovely, and when they dont they are bi**es.

I call mine Rosie (she is a Rossie rep after all)

I’m not usually into naming inanimate objects, a few people tried naming my car and I never let it stick…

My bike is called Gracie though :Whistling:

Big and comfy and goes like stink so my ST1300 is ‘the flying sofa’

Young Tom calls mine the Flying Banana. My old Moto-Guzzi was occasionally called Luigi, more often ‘StartYouBastard’.

Hey mick thats a class pic mate, made me laff :stuck_out_tongue:

yep…name all my bikes…

ZIP125-Zippy!

SV650SK4-Thumper

SV1000SK3- Thumper2 aka Thumper senior!

I called the Sprint the flying Banana once and it stuck. Niether my D675 or my old D600 have had names, But my old CBR6F I called the ‘ickle white fluffy bunny’ whilst the GS125 I owned at the same time was called ‘the beast’, both names were coined by a friend. I personally used to call the GS125 ‘bastard’ on regular occassions.

I did often refer to my 125 as “the hairdryer” come to think of it…

My Busa is called “The Widow Maker”.

My Triumph Daytona 650 is “The Flying-Banana”.

My TLR is called “Tiller” and my Firestorm is called “Around to it!”

My 125 (which the GF has now) was called ‘Van Van’ and my big bike is called ‘Bandit’…how boring am I?
