Does the Suzuki VanVan have a fuel-tap?

Aimed mainly at JB, but thought it worth posting here :slight_smile:

Does it have a fuel-tap, or a reserve light of some kind? I didn’t see one and wonder how you manage the fuel.

Google = friend :wink:

My local dealer had one of these, freaking awesome looking bikes, stupidly over large wheels, tiny little tank on it, this particular one had a top box I expect a family could live in. The clock was offset, as if there should be two, but there was only one…why not put it in the middle then? It just looked like one was missing.

Very odd, but in a strange way, a very cool looking bike.

I didn’t notice whether it had a fuel tap or gauge.

:laugh::smiley:

I seem to remember it does have a fuel tap and the picture here seems to back this up :).

Got a new bike Jay? Enjoy:)

I’m beginning to fall in love with the VanVan. It’s so old skool and basic but with decent style.

Grays have a demo bike. Time I blagged a ride I think.

Los Van Van have been the top Cuban band for the last 50 years. In the 1960’s they were described as the Cuban Rolling Stones. There is one of their LP covers where the leader and bass player of the band - Juan Formell is astride a MZ, one of the ones with a square headlight.
Dunno why Suzuki wanted to call a bike after them.
