Hello, I should qualify this a tad. I am looking for my next set of leathers. I am, however, a strange shape. I have tried everything on the rack in most shops. I was after a two piece suit but have found that the suit best suited to my frame is a one piece set. I am happy with the fit and look (Being a tart at heart) but it has a HUMP!
I ride a sports bike but not in a mental way, just a plodder really and don’t do track days Therefore: Does one look stupid plodding about with a hump? I guess that if I have found a suit that fits but it’s got the hump I should just get on with it.
Not a problem helping - thats what i’m payed to do, and like to make sure someone buys something that fits! The hump on the suit isn’t that big and it is a very nice suit!
you could get one made, or tailored to fit. i can’t buy off the peg either so i went to Harpers in Southend and they are tailering a 2 piece suit to fit me.
What bike have you got? If it’s a full on sports bike I would think it would be OK can’t be ridden fast all the time so whenever anyone sees you they’ll think it’s your slow moment.
If you’re feeling self-concious LB has the cure.
You buy the one piece with the hump, and then we’ll stand at the lights and watch you go past.

By the third time if you aren’t wheelying past us giving us all the finger whilst we’re laughing and pointing then it’ll be clear you haven’t learnt anythign from the experience at all…
