does anyone ride a CBR600F?

and how much do you weigh, etc… :stuck_out_tongue: im 9.5-10stone quite lanky (5 ft 8) and had mine set to what it was when i bought it :ermm: which was wound all the way down on the screws and on the wind out nut thingsa mate looked at it last weekend and said that was bad, so set it to all the way up on the nut things (7 rings showing) and wound the screws out two turns so the bike bounced up and settled and you pushed the front end down with the front brake on

this has lowered the front a bit (the backs already a bit low i think) and now is feeling much smoother but seems to “dive” round the corners - and im getting worryingly close to the ground with my feet  but i might be imagining that lol
its also not “feeding back” as much as it was before?

can anyone offer any advice as to the best setting and what does what please?

Try here for standard factory settings

I’m about 17 stone and 6"3 and mine’s set on the hardest setting back and front. Still seems a bit twitchy, but it’s a nine year old bike, so I expect the suspension to be sagging a bit.

awesome thanks hilton  i had a tweak at a meet last night and now set it back to factory (3 rings and one turn on the screw) and now its feels much much better! cheers!

ive been meaning to look at the suspension on mine since I bought it. its been left on whatever the previous owner used
