Sounds very dodgy indeed!! Comes with an R&G tail tidy but it’s a track bike, now correct me if I am wrong but why would a track bike need one of these!!
I am guessing that he is actually the little f**ks, that or he knows them, who sells a bike likes this with a starting bid of 99p!!!

How come it’s not road registered but “it’s on a 56 plate”?
Says he’s got a letter from Yamaha confirming the frame numbers.
Also, a Police check can reveal where the frame numbers originate.
Don’t think it’s that dodgy, but I’d definitely do some homework before buying.
About, the ECU and keys purchase by the seller, if you lose your keys for any late model bike nowadays it means a £400 to £500 purchase to get the bike running again as most bikes have immobilisers which means they won’t start without the original keys coded to each unique ECU.
I found this out the hard way when the keys to my SpeedFight 2 scooter were stolen years back.
Assuming that the frame and engine numbers were from that original bike, not another 05 R6 they they saw on the street…
If the numbers were from an 05 R6, then yes, alarm bells should start ringing 
Also, you can get the frame and engine numbers of the bike for when it was first registered.
Assuming it wasn’t stolen from the dealer before registration, any discrepancy, walk away.

yes legit bikes need new locksets too but a bike that has had all indintification numbers ground off it, clearly had new lockset, bloke stamped numbers on bike (could be off an identical bike) load of old cobblers about dvla & mot & yamaha letters that are worthless, the police will sieze it as soon as they see the numbers had been ground off it, the thing is so hot it’s untrue (alegedly)
