So there I was filling th bike up at the petrol station when a courier pulled along side me, wishes me a merry Christmas and askes if I can let him have some petrol from the pump I’m using and am going to pay for.
What would you have done?
This on another forum too, see if the replies are simular.
He was very humble said dispatching wasn’t what it used to be, I gave him about £1.75 worth said I was a courier for eight years back in the day,he said I was a legend and thanked me very much.
Call me a soft touch or what ever
Dispatch riding aint what it used to be … should hope so nothings like what it used to be. OK why a courier. Why not just any other biker. Or a LB’er with sticker.
I might be inclined to help someone out if they appeared genuinely in need. Possibly be more inclined tho to give a bike courier a couple of quid splash if he/she were carrying say blood as opposed to NGK spark plugs. A bit like buying a homeless person a hot drink on a freezing day as opposed to giving a couple of coins.
No matter what he’s using as transport and courier or not it’s still begging.I too wore a courier hat for a few years but it’d still be a “sorry, nope” from me. I can use that £1.75 worth of petrol as well as the next person.
