Sorry to disappoint you but most thieves would just carry on… Thats why alarms don’t really work if your not around.
Added deterant is always a good thing and if it draws attention to them then there’s a chance someone might intervene.
I’d much rather have things weighed in my favour.
Also, good if you park outside your house overnight.
An alarm going off might not deter them but me running out of the house in my pants with a crowbar probably will

I park my bike outside the house and someone has already tried to force the lock even with a bloody big imobilisor ring round it.
Was more thinking as above, boxer shorts with some kleenex and a copy of razzle in my hand would scare most folk off.
