The annual Dirt Bike Show is once again set to be another spectacular and successful one for the show organisers, Promoto . Now in its ninth year, the Dirt Bike Show staged at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry is looking forward to opening its doors to the public and putting on another fantastic display.

We have 5 pairs of the Dirt Bike Show 2008 tickets to be won.
That’s possibly a total of £150! A lot of tea & cakes!

To win a pair of tickets just answer the following:

Questions:

Given the theme of the show, we have some motorcross based questions for you -

1. What is the name and age of the winner of the 2008 MX-1 GP?
2. What part of Josh Coppins’ equipment broke towards the end of the 2008 MX-1 GP season and where did the incident happen?
3. Name three separate teams of three motocross riders attending the show.
(i.e. rider - team, rider - team, rider - team)

All the answers can be found on londonbikers.com news articles, so get searching & reading!

Rules :

Send entries to the following email address - competitions [at] londonbikers.com (not PM) - by November 3rd.
Please supply information in the following order:

  • answers (clearly marked),
  • your preferred day (13th – 16th November 2008),
  • your londonbikers.com forum name,
  • the name of the person you would like to bring should you win a pair of tickets.

Winners will be notified by a reply email using the same address.

Please note the following:

  • This competition is only open to londonbikers.com members,
  • Although the event takes place over 4 days, tickets are day specific and valid for entry on one day only,
  • The prize is non-transferable - sorry, no cash equivalent,
  • Tickets only include entry to the venue, other costs such as viewing live action, tea & cakes etc. must be met by the winner(s),
  • Staff or partners of LB are not eligible to enter,
  • Winners will be chosen at random from entries,
  • Only one entry per person will be accepted.

Thanks for pointing this out, there was a delay between composing and posting the competition text.
I’ve edited the post with the extended date of the 3rd of November.

I hope I can expect more competition entries now though! :wink:

I’ll be entering, my dad only lives down the road from the dirtbike show and i stay there most weekends.

the first and last question are easy, the second one is a little more difficult

I think question 2 is a little wrong, unless im a complete tit and got the answer wrong :smiley:

It is a realy good show, ive been a fair few times. Plan on getting a new helmet from there again this year
