Decision made, money paid and parts booked in for Saturday. Should get it all back and back together by next weekend.
I’m going for orange front end with a really nice shiny metallic black tail unit, undertray and hugger, I’m not putting the suzuki or GSXR decals back on as I’m getting a design done similar to that on the daytona so it blends the orange into the black and doesn’t look like how Alba so excellently described it it’s funny cos how she described it is exactly what it is lol.
I’m not getting the wheels done yet as the sprayer said it might look a bit too much. Once it’s all done and resprayed I can decide on the wheels. He said he will powder coat them for £80 per wheel, only problem is they won’t be an exact colour match so it’s best to wait and see what I think.
Yay good choice, a bit late to this one but I was gonna say I liked that scheme most out of the ones you suggested! Can’t wait to see what it looks like all done!
Difficult to say. It might look good and it might look bad. I must admit I like the blue/white colour scheme with white rims (like in the picture below).
I’d probably go for option number 2 - respray the blue bits orange and get matching wheel rims.
Aren’t you going to get a similar paint job to the Daytona though? The pattern is different to the one you’re looking at, it’s that big black bar I’m the centre of the bike that looks odd :ermm:
and they are going to give me a price on a design, I’ve told them i don’t want it identical to the Triumph but that is the idea of what i’m aiming for where it uses the decals to blend the back of the bike into the front so that it doesn’t look like it has been crashed and just thrown back together.
The Only thing is, i’m now really torn with this bike…
I Just don’t know what to do, I’m going to print all these Pictures off and drop by there tonight and ask if he will do it like this (Same Colours) for the same price. if he says yes then i will be going for a(another!!) colour change i think
That black/white one does look awesome! If you put both bikes in front of me - the orange and black/white - I’d pick the latter one without even thinking.
