Did my good Deed today

Left work just before 8pm on the Isle Dogs. Turned right near Limehouse police station and a chap and his missus (both in 50s - not that, that makes a difference) pull along side me at the light.

“Is this the way to the O2?”

Told him to follow me - as I go through the Blackwall Tunnel on the way home.

Took him right to the Dome and showed them where to park for free.

Then on my merry way.

Probably added 5 mins to my journey, but at least they got to the 02 for the Neil Diamond concert.

How many Brownie Points do I get?

Jolly nice thing of you to do!

Big pat on the back for you muntu… Makes you feel good knowing they were grateful as well:)

well done tell us whee you can park for free at o2 please

Nice one mate

I normally park in the tube car park for £5 I think it is & a couple of times I’ve been people have given me their tickets with hours left on so thats free parking  I would never pay £20 to park down there!

Hey Martin

See the link here http://www.theo2.co.uk/inside/car-parking-2.html

Just below Car Park 2 is another car park. Go in there and straight ahead to the fence at the end. Behind the fence is where pushbikes and motorbikes park for free. There aren’t a great deal of spaces. Aparently there are a few places in the car park as well which are free. Need to ask one of the attendants in the hut.

Hope that helps

sure it’s carpark 4 thats a fiver all day but you get it back if you use the cinema

Neil Diamond… i would have pulled away as fast as poss, still it could have been worse it could have been Val Doonican:D

Dont know you but that was nice of you

Funny that - I spotted a Ducati monster parked up in the chevrons outside the bus stop there once, a duo of italian students looking for UEL - it was easier to take them there rather than explain.

Kudos to you.

thanks chaps for advice

subjecting somebody to Neil Diamond is **not ** a good deed :stuck_out_tongue:
