i believe cafe racer and the streetfighter are very close relatives.
even streetfighter mag reckon faired bikes sleepers etc are streetfighters, look at the book a couple of there blokes put out a few yrs with faired bikes mixed with dodges iriginal bike, even 2 strokes.
I cant see how any bike with clip-ons and/or a fairing can be called a fighter, more like a race replica. The Suzuki 7/11 or Honda 9/11 would fall into the sleeper bracket. IMHO the SF mags got it wrong printing slammed blinged out Busa’s and the like, surely these are drag bikes of a fashion and not fighters. The Factory fighter is just mass produced comercialization of a street cult.
