Decent Radio Stations

Are there any radio stations that dont play the same sh*t over and over & over all day long?!

Im sitting at my desk, no mp3’s to listen to & I wanna hear some good old rock or something but all I get is Glastonbury crap from the weekend & Leona Lewis repeated all day

Anyone know of any decent stations to listen to? Ta!

Try www.planetrock.com

I like to wake up to Denise Van Outten whispering in my lughole on CapitalFM:D

I was a big fan of The Arrow but whilst Pure were taking months to replace my radio under warranty The Arrow was roped from London DAB

Sort of flick between xfm and Radio 6

LBC 97.3

Agree. Good tunes and hardly any buffering. Only an option if at a computer or have a DAB radio otherwise Radio 3/4.

Normally in the car with the radio on 2 or 3 hours a day, I love music, mainly rock/metal/blues etc but what station do i tune into most of the time ?..
radio 4 [no music].
I just dont want to hear the same stuff over and over again
[ yea i know,how can i possibly like the blues then ?:stuck_out_tongue: ]

I listen to 2 stations, either unknown FM or Vibes Fm.

I love this station in some sort of old man depressed way Radio 1 has gone right down the toilet kiss can kiss my *** choice errrr not mine

radio 4 or radio 5 live

if i want choons i play my CD’s

Can’t go wrong with Planet Rock and definately don’t play the same songs over and over

97.3 until mid afternoon ,then Steve Wright on Radio 2 .

I prefer talkie radio: Radio London 94.9. From 12 to 3 is Robert Elms and from 3 to 5 is Danny Baker. Both are fantastic shows but for heaven’s sake don’t listen to the mornings as Vanessa Feltz is on and it’s just a stream of jibberish!

My Mrs listens to this during the night when the kids wake up…some lady called Jumoke Fashola is on… She’s ok, but some of her callers are completely bonkers, although what is slightly worrying is I find myself arguing with them…

It’s worse on Friday - Jumoke’s night off, then you get Tessa Dunlop - mad

Also not much advertising (well not as much as the others)

And some good presenters.Nicky Horne knows his business and I wonder who he hasn’t met in the Rock World. Always have a laugh on a Saturday with Rick Wakeman. Murray J’s requests I like cos thats when u get to hear something haven’t heard for ages. And Alice Cooper?? Well he is different, just seems to be playing a lot of his own music lately.

Used to listen to Capital FM in the mornings when comuting in my car, Johnny and Denise breakfast show was always good for a laugh.

Agreed - Nicky Horne answers your emails himself if you send in a question about his programme. So glad Planet Rock was rescued (it nearly closed recently but some lovely person bought it and made them keep it just as it was)
